CPI Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) Amplifiers

Solid state amplifiers are good at frequencies up to a few Ghz and at that frequency up to a few watts. When the application calls for power (hundreds of watts) at frequencies between 1 Ghz and 80-90 Ghz, the answer is a TWT amplifier. Our instrumentation amplifiers feature a split chassis with the power supply and controls in one chassis and the TWT output section in the other. This allows the output and antenna to be very close together inside the chamber with the test article while the controls are accessible to the operator. CPI is also the only current manufacturer that makes the (TWT) tubes. This allows them to better match the tube to specialty applications where off the shelf is not enough. We offer a better amplifier with a split chassis at a better price than our competition. A partial list of amplifiers and data sheets is below. If you don't see what you need, ask.
